Great views with lots of bedrooms (5 plus loft) make this a great vacation home. It is quite easy access for those who don't want to do a lot of stairs, only requiring a few to get into the house, then it is all but the loft on the same level.   Enjoy wonderful ocean views from the living, kitchen, dining, loft, deck and master bedroom.

House layout:

The front door leads stright through to the living /dining area, or left to the kitchen, all of which have wonderful views. There is a large screen smart TV with cable. The kitchen is open to the other living areas, and a deck is just off the dining room. Above the living area is a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds. Off the living area is a queen bedroom, with a bathroom that is also shared by the living spaces.

Down the hall is another queen bedroom, which shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with the large master bedroom with a king bed

Off the hallway and past the laundry room is a small family room with another TV. from there you can access another full bath and two more queen bedrooms. There is a separate entrance to the family room area as well, and a peekaboo view of the ocean.

Our private beach access is just down a path then a sandy hill. Public beach access is about 1/2 mile away.  Sometimes there is no creek directly in front of our access, and sometimes there is, based on winter storms.  The creek is usually shallow in the summer, and a great place for kids to play farther away from the bigger surf.

It's a very quiet area, with lovely views.  You will need a car, and there is plenty of parking available.

It's a short drive to Old Town's shops and restaurants, and about 4 miles south to Bandon Crossings' great golf or 20 minutes north to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort

Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and restaurants, a crabbing and fishing dock, and charter fishing. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area (about a half hour drive), or serving as a base for day trips, such as south to the Redwoods National Park in northern California.

Some land is meant for Golf. Bandon, Oregon is one of those places. Bandon Crossings Golf Course is a unique and interesting 18 hole course with carts available, and recommended as a hidden gem by Links Magazine, and included in Matt Ginela’s Ladder of Value Courses in the US.

It's famous neighbor, the world class Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, includes the golf courses of Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Pacific Trails, Old Macdonald, and opening in 2020, the Sheep Ranch. Join golfers from all over the world playing these fabulous golf courses.

Our guests can enjoy golf at Bandon Crossings Golf Course at the favorable Crossings Club rates, including a cart.

Also, please shut the little cover over the combination after you have opened it to try to keep the salt air out. Be careful not to lock yourself out. You can call the housekeepers but there is a $15 lockout charge.

It is only collected once a week, early Tuesday. Extra bags can be put by the can. Please bring the can back in afterwards. Most cans & bottles have a 10 cent return deposit, so try to keep them from filling the trash can.

Beach Access: The private beach access is down the gravel road next to our driveway and straight through a narrow path to the beach. Winter storms can change the routing of Johnson Creek, so sometimes our beach access may have a shallow creek to cross over. There is public beach access to the north at Windemere (north end) and to the south at Mars Lane, either is about ½ mile away.

From the Portland area (or Eugene): go south on I-5 from to the turnoff to Drain, Elkton and Reedsport on Highway #38 (exit #162). Take 38 to Reedsport and turn south (left) on Highway 101, through North Bend, Coos Bay, and Bandon.

From the North Bend airport: ask the car rental agency for directions to Highway 101 south, and follow it to Bandon.

From the south along I-5: go north on I-5 to the Winston/Green turnoff, highway #42. Follow the signs along 42 west past Myrtle Point to the town of Coquille. From Coquille at around Mile Post 11 you can turn left to Bandon on the 42S highway. It is about 20 miles on a very winding road to Bandon. When you reach highway 101 go south (left).

The house is in the southern part of Bandon. From Highway 101 go west on Seabird Lane, and when it ends at Beach Loop Drive turn left (south). Go past the Best Western Inn at Face Rock, and as the road goes up again, look for a small gravel driveway on the right with a sign “3802” (it is on a post and should reflect lights if it’s dark). As you drive back onto the driveway it is the first house.

From the south on Hwy 101, go north till you come to a sign on the left welcoming you to Bandon. Turn left on Seabird Lane, just before the sign, then left on Beach Loop Drive to 3802 (see above).

This beach house was perfectly suited for our family reunion as it slept twelve comfortably and waking to the sound of surf was a special treat for the midwesterners! The kitchen and dining table with extra leaf was spacious and welcoming for the dinners with other family staying in a pet friendly cottage! We enjoyed the family gatherings in the great room with view, some quiet time in the various loft and sitting places and the ease of beach access just down the path and across the stream. Truly a magical three days that will live in our memories! Thank you for sharing your Pacific Panorama!

It's so wonderful to hear about a magical trip! Thank you.

We rented this house for a multigenerational family vacation and we were not disappointed! The private access to the beach was too tough for the older family but the close proximity to Devil’s Kitchen Beach access allows them to be included on the beach excursion. The house was equipped with pretty much everything needed for a comfortable stay and the views from the high living room windows were to die for! Highly recommend a stay 🙂

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. I love Devil's Kitchen beach for a number of reasons, and it's a short drive. Thanks for sharing.

Like Being in Paradise!!

I suppose I had high expectations before arriving, we had been planning this trip for nearly a year....a "destination birthday party" for me (who was turning 60). Well, the Pacific Panorama did NOT disappoint! In fact, it exceeded my highest expectation's. The home was more than adequate for 13 of us to enjoy! The view OUTSTANDING! my husband and I practically had to pinch ourselves each morning as we looked out at the ocean, Face Rock right in front of us! so surreal it was when we walked down on the beach at low tide out to her and all the other rocks and got "up close and personal" and then later in the day to see those same beauties out in the ocean at 'high tide' with wave crashing against them.....interesting feeling . :) The kitchen was very well equipped as most nights we ate in and there were plenty of pots and pans and a couple of large stock pots just perfect for the Crab Boil when the grand kids brought home some freshlly caught crabs from the Bandon Pier....Tony's Crab Shack was so helpful and reasonable! The bed my husband and I slept in (the master) even had one of those "sleep number" mattresses on it and it was heavenly! Every night I slept like a baby! The place was very clean and well kept, had all the supplies we could possibly want for our week's stay there. The only drawback if there was one, really wasn't a big deal to us, the little path way to the beach had suffered a bit from winter storms which we had been made aware of and we had to access the beach at the public access which really was just a about a three minute walk away. I could go on and on, but, the best advice I could give to someone contemplating renting this wonderful just go right ahead and do it! You surely won't regret it !!

The house was as the pictures depicted except the lot is bigger than shown and the garage is huge. Carla was great to work with and she returned the security deposit in a timely manner. I rented the house along with some friends to play the Bandon Dunes Golf courses. I intend to return to the house again next year. The house is advertised as having 5 bedrooms, but it really has 6 if you include the loft. You really can't go wrong renting this house. The owners seem to either own or be associated with Bandon Crossings Golf Course, which is a great alternative to the Bandon Dunes courses and as a renter you might be able to get a reduced greens fee. I intend to take advantage of this course next year. It looks like a really good course, with greens that may actually be better than Bandon Dunes in the winter.

A good value for a great home.

We have used this home for family reunions the past two years. It accommodates our group of twelve perfectly. Very clean, well maintained, close to the beach. We plan to use it again.

We love our vacation homes in Bandon, with it's amazing beach and golf courses. And we now have a beautiful town home in Portland, near downtown in the wonderful Brooklyn neighborhood.
