Cora Street Retreat is located at 1120 SE Cora Street, Portland, OR 97202. The online maps work well for navigation. Parking is available on the street or in the driveway. (The garage is restricted to the owner's use)
CHECK IN
Check in time is 4 pm. There is a lock box on the iron security gate by the front door. The combination is "0531".
Internet: There is secure wireless internet: JediNights, and the key is "jediyoga". It is located in the hall closet; if you have any trouble with it, try unplugging it, wait about 30 seconds, and plug it back in. (Please do NOT press the “reset” button, as it will erase the secure network).
Garbage: If you are there on a Wednesday night, PLEASE put the rolling trash/recycling cans all the way out by the street. It is only collected once a week (garbage every other week), on Thursday. There are separate bins for recycling, trash, compost and a yellow bin for glass. Please bring the cans back under the stairs afterwards as a courtesy to the neighbors.
NO SMOKING, NO VAPING is allowed anywhere indoors or within 10 feet of any door or open window. (By definition, “smoking” includes any product that disburses fumes or vapors or smoke, whether or not by burning).
NO PETS or Animals allowed in the house under any conditions.
PLUMBING SAFETY: To prevent plumbing problems, please do not flush any feminine hygiene products or "Flushable" wipes, or anything similar.
QUIET HOURS: The house is in a neighborhood so please respect neighbors by keeping sound at a low level from 10 pm to 8 am. Remember you share a wall with the other unit.
CHECK OUT time is 11 am. There are times when the house must be prepared immediately for occupancy the afternoon you leave. If you would like to request a late departure or early check-in, ask us to see if we can accommodate you.
CHECK OUT CHECKLIST:
1. Load the dishwasher and turn it on
2. Wash extra pots and pans
4. Start a load of towels in the washer (please put in drier if you have time)
5. Replace furniture that may have been moved
6. Check for all your personal items, phone chargers, etc.
7. You do not need to strip or make up beds, just leave them as is
8. Return the keys to the lockbox.
CLEANING: You have paid for basic (hotel style) cleaning. Additional charges will be levied if extensive cleaning is required, such as extra dirty dishes, pots & pans, food stuck on stove or microwave, furniture moved around, items scattered or left around the house that need to be picked up, etc. Large amounts of garbage may also require additional fees for removal. Cleaning and laundry supplies and equipment are available for your convenience.

* For travel Downtown you can drive, or it is easy to take public transit and avoid parking hassles.
* There is a bus stop about 2 1/2 blocks away on Milwaukie Ave. and the MAX train station is about a 5-7 minute walk.
