CHECK IN time is 4 pm. There is a lock box by the front door. The combination code will be sent in an email 2 days before booking. Pull towards you to get the keys inside. (Please put them back in before you leave). Also, please shut the little cover over the combination after you have opened it to try to keep the salt air out. Be careful not to lock yourself out. You can call the housekeepers but there is a $15 lockout charge.

There is a white information notebook in the living room; please review it.

House Information

INTERNET: There is secure wireless internet for Sunsets and surf named BandonVistas, and the key is "GolfCrossings". If you have any trouble with it, try unplugging it, wait about 30 seconds, and plug it back in. It is located in the living room by the TV.

NO SMOKING, NO VAPING is allowed anywhere indoors or within 10 feet of any door or open window. (By definition, “smoking” includes any product that disburses fumes or vapors or smoke, whether or not by burning).

PETS: Please keep pets off furniture and cleanup all pet messes. Leashes are required in public. Please bag and discard all pet waste. 

QUIET HOURS: The house is in a neighborhood so please respect neighbors by keeping sound at a low level from 9 pm to 8 am. This includes preventing your dogs from barking.

No events or parties are allowed. No occupied RV’s are allowed in the city except in designated RV parks

PLUMBING SAFETY: To prevent plumbing problems, please do not flush any feminine hygiene products or "Flushable" wipes, or anything similar.

GARBAGE: If you are there on a Monday night, PLEASE put the rolling trash can out by the street. It is only collected once a week, early Tuesday. Extra bags can be put by the can. Please bring the can back in afterwards. Most cans & bottles have a 10 cent return deposit, so try to keep them from filling the trash can.

Earthquake and Tsunami: If you feel an earthquake or hear Tsunami warning sirens, with loud speaker messages in the event of a tsunami warning, stay off the beach!! Tsunami safety information and map is available at the house.

Pellet Stove: There is a pellet stove in the living room, which you may use, and there will be a starter supply of pellets (there may be some in the garage). The electric zoned heating works very effectively. More pellets can be purchased at grocery or hardware stores.

Local Information

You can cross the street to get to Face Rock Wayside, with a path down to Bandon's spectacularly beautiful beach. It's a short drive to Old Town's shops and restaurants. Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and restaurants, a crabbing and fishing dock, and charter fishing. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area (about a half hour drive), or serving as a base for day trips, such as south to the Redwoods National Park in northern California.

GOLF: Some land is meant for Golf. Bandon, Oregon is one of those places. Bandon Crossings Golf Course is a unique and interesting 18 hole course with carts available, and recommended as a hidden gem by Links Magazine, and included in Matt Ginela’s Ladder of Value Courses in the US, and GOLF Magazine includes it in the top 100 courses in the US under $150.
Our guests can enjoy golf at Bandon Crossings Golf Course at the favorable Crossings Club rates, including a cart. It is 5 miles south on Highway 101

It's famous neighbor, the world class Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, includes the golf courses of Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Pacific Trails, Old Macdonald, and the Sheep Ranch. Join golfers from all over the world playing these fabulous golf courses. It is about 15 minutes to the north on Highway 101.

CHECK OUT time is 11 am.

Late departure fee of $50, plus $20 per hour may be charged if housekeeper has to wait for you to vacate after 11 am. There are times when the house must be prepared immediately for occupancy the afternoon you leave. If you would like to request a late departure or early check-in, ask us to see if we can accommodate you.

*Load the dishwasher and turn it on

*Wash extra pots and pans

*If you used the propane BBQ, please clean it

*Start a load of white towels in the washer (please put in drier if you have time)

*Replace furniture or mattresses that may have been moved

*Check for all your personal items, phone chargers, etc.

*You do not need to strip or make up beds, just leave them as is

*Return the keys to the lockbox

Directions

All Sunsets and Surf is located at 2295 Beach Loop Rd, Bandon, OR 97411. Please note that some online/GPS maps do not show the address in the correct location. You can follow their directions until you get close, then please check below for accurate directions.

DIRECTIONS: From the Portland area (or Eugene): go south on I-5 from to the turnoff to Drain, Elkton and Reedsport on Highway #38 (exit #162). Take 38 to Reedsport and turn south (left) on Highway 101, through North Bend, Coos Bay, and Bandon.


From the North Bend airport
: ask the car rental agency for directions to Highway 101 south, and follow it to Bandon.

From the south along I-5: go north on I-5 to the Winston/Green turnoff, highway #42. Follow the signs along 42 west past Myrtle Point to the town of Coquille. From Coquille at around Mile Post 11 you can turn left to Bandon on the 42S highway. It is about 20 miles on a very winding road to Bandon. When you reach highway 101 go south (left).

In Bandon there is a signal on Highway 101 at 11th Street; go west (Right) and continue through the park and turn left on Beach Loop Road. It is on the left past Face Rock Wayside, with a circular pull through driveway. (Some online maps place it incorrectly).

From the south on Hwy 101, go north till you come to a sign on the left welcoming you to Bandon. Turn left on Seabird Lane, just before the sign, then right on Beach Loop Road to 2295.
